project overview
Subject to the review and approval of the lawyer supervisor, PBSC Student Volunteers will create plain language legal guides that will be hosted on the North Shore Pro Bono webpage to help their clients – who are largely self-represented understand the basics of alternative dispute resolution. Many people who access the services of North Shore Pro Bono may not even be aware about their alternative dispute resolution options in any given situation. While the focus of the PLE will ultimately be set by the organization, possible topics may include elucidating the steps in the ADR process, the different types of ADR available, how to prepare an agreement and how to have an agreement enforced. two students are required for this project.
